National Ballet of Canada‘s Principal Dancer Xiao Nan Yu retires at the end of the 2018/19 season after 22 years with the company. She will bid farewell dancing the role of Hanna Glawari in Ronald Hynd’s The Merry Widow. In this latest video, Ms. Yu shares what she loves most about The Merry Widow and why she selected this role to say goodbye.
