The Place are celebrating 50 years of powering imagination through dance and their celebratory activity is designed to spark conversations. They intend to shine a light on interesting movements and performances that are happening in London this year, looking to the future whilst nodding at the past.
As part of our 50th year, The Place is exploring some BIG questions surrounding our artform, through a new animated video series. The second video of the series asks, ‘What is Dance for?’ and aims to support young people to spark conversations around this subject, which we believe is particularly poignant at this time.
