Queensland Ballet’s Artistic Director Li Cunxin announced former Vienna State Opera Ballet Soloist, Natasha Kusch has joined the Company as a Principal Dancer.

Australian audiences will have the opportunity to see Natasha perform in the Queensland Ballet’s sold out season of Dance Dialogues – Spring.
Li Cunxin was delighted to share this news. “Natasha is an extremely talented dancer and we are pleased we are attracting such high calibre of international talent to Queensland Ballet.”Those lucky enough to have secured a ticket to the sold out Dance Dialogues will enjoy witnessing her exceptional technique,” Li Cunxin added.

Ukraine-born, Natasha Kusch, studied at College of Theater in Dnjepropetrowsk and went onto dance with the Dnjepropetrovsk´s Theatre of Opera and Ballet. In 2005 she joined the Vienna State Opera Ballet, and was promoted to Soloist in 2011.
Natasha was a Guest Artist in Queensland Ballet’s 2012 International Gala and it was during her short-stay in Australia last year that she considered a new experience.
“The Company are extremely welcoming and friendly.  I am pleased to be back in Queensland and am looking forward to performing for Queensland’s audiences,” Natasha commented.
Natasha has danced leading roles in many ballets, including La Sylphide, Swan Lake, Giselle, Don Quixote and Romeo and Juliet (Cranko).
