The Boston Globe recently hailed William Forsythe as “one of the most visionary and influential choreographers on the planet.” Opening the National Ballet’s Summer Season, Physical Thinking features three of the choreographer’s works including company premieres of The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude and Approximate Sonata 2016 with the return of The Second Detail, onstage June 1 – 8 at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts.

In the latest video, National Ballet of Canada Principal Dancer Piotr Stanczyk, who celebrates his 20th anniversary with the company during the 2018/19 season, explains what it takes to dance Forsythe’s style.
