The Australian Ballet’s annual Bodytorque programme has “become a breeding ground for some of The Australian Ballet’s brightest talents, including Alice Topp and Tim Harbour, both of whom have gone on to become resident choreographers for The Australian Ballet and created works for other dance organisations.”

What Remains is an intimate portrayal of the artist after their life on stage, articulating the grief of losing their connection with the audience and anxieties going into the future. This reflects Kevin Jackson’s own retirement from The Australian Ballet, with his final performances cancelled due to covid lockdowns.
