Katrena Cohea is a dancer, educator, choreographer, and the Director of Different Drummer Dance.
She is a member of the Royal Academy of Dance and trained with the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance.
Katrena was a member of Brisas de Espana flamenco and Spanish Dance Company in Northern California for 4 years, and has danced her way across the US and Canada.
She is passionate believer that dance is for anybody who has a body, and when she’s not teaching or writing, she can be found dancing around the kitchen in her favorite avocado socks, dreaming up a book and chocolate subscription business, or greeting every dog she comes across as though it might be the reincarnation of Patrick Swayze from Roadhouse.
